December 2025 Update - Beechhurst Capital Advisors LLC Asset Allocation Model Portfolio

For the month of November, we made a mid-month change to the fixed income allocation of our portfolio. Our allocation to equities and gold hasn’t changed.

Here are our current portfolio allocations:

  • US Stocks (VTI) - 60%

  • Gold (IAU) - 15%

  • Money Market Funds (SPAXX) - 15%*

  • International Stocks (VXUS) - 10%

* Please note the substitution of money market funds in lieu of cash into the portfolio. This change was made due to the larger dividend paid by the money market fund. Over the next several weeks, we will post three articles talking about the three money market funds run by Fidelity Investments. Money market funds or cash is allocated when alternative assets don’t rank above US stocks in the model and a substitute allocation must be made.

November saw some market weakness in the US, especially among risk assets such as high growth stocks and digital assets. The S&P 500 closed up 0.12% versus a historical return of 2.90% according to historical data published on barchart.com

Looking forward to December, we will continue to monitor our model and make changes according to our model’s asset allocation rules. We probably won’t make any changes but please stay tuned to our blog where we will publish any changes as they happen. For now, be well and stay safe!
